RestoreRadar Verification Standard v1.0
A public, claim-specific standard for showing what was checked, which source supported it, when it was checked, and what RestoreRadar did not establish.
What the standard does
RestoreRadar evaluates separate claims about a listed provider. Each public provider receipt identifies the claim, its evidence classification, the source category, the checked date, any expiration or review date, and a plain-language limitation. One verified claim never silently upgrades unrelated claims.
RestoreRadar is a directory and lead-generation platform. The listed company—not RestoreRadar—performs any restoration service. RestoreRadar does not guarantee workmanship, response time, insurance coverage, licensing for every possible scope, or future performance.
Status levels are cumulative, not interchangeable

Listed means the company appears in the directory from public or submitted information. It does not mean RestoreRadar verified the company.
Evidence classifications
Provider attested means the provider or its website made the statement; RestoreRadar did not independently establish it. Public source observed means RestoreRadar recorded what a public source displayed. Automatically verified means a rules-based match against an approved authoritative source cleared documented matching rules. Manually verified and document reviewed require an authorized reviewer. Third-party verified means the named issuer or registry supports the specific claim.
Unverified, expired, disputed, and revoked claims do not support a positive composite status. A dated registry or document check is a snapshot unless the receipt explicitly says otherwise.
Composite requirements and current scope
A RestoreRadar Verified composite requires current v1 evidence for company-channel control, business identity, and insurance coverage, plus every required claim for the provider's jurisdiction and service category. Texas, Florida, and Louisiana mold-remediation rules are represented in v1; reconstruction, contractor, trade, county, and municipal requirements for water, fire, and storm work remain scope-dependent and are not treated as research-complete.
Florida mold licensing applies to individuals, so a current individual license and documented company affiliation are separate requirements. Louisiana's published mold-remediation threshold does not become a claim that every project requires the same license. The receipt states the narrower conclusion actually supported.
Expiration, disputes, and corrections
Claims can carry effective, expiration, and next-review dates. When evidence expires, the positive status expires unless a new append-only review revision supports it. A correction or ownership report can place a claim in dispute; an authorized reviewer may confirm, change, expire, or revoke it while retaining the audit history.
Report an error, ownership change, expired credential, or dispute. RestoreRadar records the correction path without publishing confidential submissions.
Commercial independence
Sponsored placement is a commercial designation only. It does not change verification, credentials, evidence, or the public receipt. Paid and unpaid provider pages use the same receipt fields, evidence rules, expiration logic, and dispute process. The receipt displays the commercial designation separately.
A missing claim means RestoreRadar has not confirmed that item; it does not mean the company lacks it.
